REFORM

The one reform that India badly needs is financing of Politics.
Every rupee spent by a Political Party must be accounted for,
its origin reliably traceable to its donor .This calls for drastic
reform.One,political expenditure must shrink; and two, all
funding above a smallish cap must be by cheque or electronic
transfer.The state could also consider providing a  pont of
the funds.

CHEN SHU-CHU

We hear of super rich making huge donations.CHEN SHU-CHU a vegetable vendor of TAITUNG helps people less fortunate than herself.She is hailed as  "Pride of Taitung" and the "Model of Philanthrophy"
    She says"I have done nothing extraordinary and everyone who want to can do it.There are manyother charitable people we just do not know about them".she is unmarried and says" I am happy andI can sleep well"
   She feels for the poors
   For CHEN "Money is only worthy if given to those in need.She leads a very simple life and says"spend only on what you need and you will be able to save a lot of money".

Dr Rajendra Prasad

The first President of independent India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad was also the President of the Constituent Assembly that drafted India's Constitution. He had participated actively in India's freedom movement. Born on December 3, 1884 in the remote hamlet of Ziradei in Bihar's Siwan district, his father was a renowned scholar of Persian and Sanskrit. He moved to Kolkata for his education. A brilliant student all throughout, he earned a Masters degree in Law, going on to complete a doctorate in law. 

He plunged headlong into the Swadeshi movement and was influenced tremendously by Mahatma Gandhi. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was arrested in 1930 for participating in the Salt Satyagraha. In January 1934, a devastating earthquake struck Bihar. Rajendra Prasad was in jail during this time, but was soon released. Upon his release, he devoted himself to the task of raising funds and providing succour to the people. He collected a large sum of money to provide relief to the affected people. He set up relief committees during the Quetta earthquake of 1935 too. 

He became the President of the Indian National Congress during the Bombay session in October 1934. He became the President once again when Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose resigned in 1939. He served as a Cabinet Minister for a brief period in the first government of independent India, before serving as the President of India for a period of 12 years from 1950 to 1962. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1962. He left for his heavenly abode on February 28, 1963.

Sri Nitish Kumar's this type victory is the best democratic thing to have happened in Bihar.Now it's time to work.To start with selection of a more clean,efficient and performing team(cabinet) and in course of time appraisal of their work.Likewise,performing beaurocrats who can firmly execute the programmes and policies to reachthe beneficiaries,so that high expectations of development and governance are fulfilled.This underlies his massive electoral mandates.
              Priorities are to be identified very carefully. While doing so social and economic powers are to be distributed in a more democratic fashion ,so that violence remains no longer therein economic- social equation.This will be the litmus test of Mr. Kumar who is to take oath today as C.M. in the historic Gandhi Maidan 0f PATNA (at the cost of state Exchequer?).

BIHAR VERDICT.

Bihar Poll verdict shows how the voters of Bihar are matured.
NDA victory is historical nevr seen before in the history of
Bihar & is one of the biggest coalition  victories in India.
RJD,LJP & congress crushed.Lalu & Rambilas eclipsed.
     But mandate is not without complications-a big challenge.
Opposition is nowhere,Strong opposition is necessary for
healthy democracy.
     Corruption is widely pervasive and everyone would like
Govt. to address the issue effectively
     People have voted for development and good governance.
Govt. have now greater responsibilities to keep promises &
fulfill people's aspirations
     Let everyone cooperate and wish for a peaceful,prosperous,
progressive and developed Bihar
     Good governance and development offer a political viable
platform.If more politicians act on this cue, it would certainly
take Indian growth story to the next higher and higher level..

Prayer

I am a firm believer in Religion but my religion is Humanity.For me service to Humanity is service to God.
Thus I believe GOD..I also pray but not the way majority of us do for hour or hours together sitting before God and chanting loudly with a long demand or wish lists for physical, material, mental wellbeing.
For me, the real purpose of prayer is to elevate us from physical to spiritual. It is a silent yearning of the soul for "ONENESS". with the GOD.
 The GOD knows everything. He is the greatest knower.HE in perfect wisdom keeps absolute power of dispensation at his total discretion

  Prayers, when  is absent and only lips are moving loudly have limited results and satisfy egos only or help in giving vent to the stress of daily life .

               The real prayer is done in solitary intimacy with the GOD.
               Can prayers alter the events of life.Answer can be both YES or NO.
               Yes,because prayers reduce severity of distress and to that extent the courseof life is altered.
Once human consciousness is pious and benevolent, the outer world also responds likewise.
So it is the change within that can bring change with out.

Interdependence

We all live for others.Even Nature also lives for others. The Sun shines.The wind blows .The rivers flow.The seasons change. The night becomes day.Not for themselves but for others. Similarly we all are here for others.
 Interdependence is indispensable in life.Life moves not because of our efforts but with others contributions
Nature is the best example of interconnectedness Let us harmonise our living with Nature.

HUMANITY

                                    
                                    SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO THE GOD.
